Fun Facts:
* The lyrics for this song were written 18th April 2011.
* One guitar is played with a pick, the other with fingers.
* In the choruses, the guitars play the opposite to each other in terms of pluck or thrash.
* The guitars for this are not especially well tuned because the ideas came so fast it was more important to get them down than anything else.
* This was another of George’s daughter’s favourite songs, used to dance her to sleep when she was aged 12-18 months.
* All the guitar parts are played on Nicodemus and are largely first take.
* The right rhythm guitar is played with fingers, the left with a plectrum.
* The one-bar bass break isn’t quite the right part.
* Beneath the Skin was the first ‘wow-factor’ demo from the various rock tracks that make up the album.
