Fun Facts:

• Asylum Child was originally written and performed by Alien Heat.
• George studied Graham’s original drum parts and programmed them into the sequencer.
• Jeff then added the percussion.
• Richard programmed the original keyboard sounds himself and these are approximated on the studio synths.
• We tend to feel that they did a reasonable job.
• During the keyboard breaks between verses one and two, and verses three and four, the bass plays five beats, then four, then three, then two, then two.
• This song is in the key of C#m and the tempo is 120 BPM.
• When Marc was quickly noting down a list of songs, this one came out as ‘Assy Kid’.
• ‘Communication Breakdown’ refers to the Led Zeppelin song and a time when music was played by humans using musical instruments, rather than by programmed machines.
