Exstacy by Dark Company, from the album Can of Worms.

A thousand pieces he sees
A thousand times in a deep freeze
Recreated in a tight squeeze
Does it fit does it please
Edge and top the brite keys

Summer day under winter rain
Sunlight paints the clouds with flame
Golden watch on a cardboard chain
Inside the jigsaw it’s all the same
Inside the jigsaw it’s all the same

Little bits of shiny shapes
A billion lines that cannot wait
A soldier leans upon a gate
The moon is ready, it’s getting late
But the clock it says it’s always eight

Time is like a broken drum
You can’t beat the hours but still they come
From a silent night in frozen fun
Across the jigsaw colours run
Across the jigsaw colours run

Candy sweet too good to eat
Fairground’s just across the street
Fire burns but it gives no heat
Children run but don’t move their feet
When the puzzle’s done the ends will meet

I’ve got time to be alone
Thoughts that drop like silent stones
Inside my head inside my home
Jigsaw hours all have flown
Jigsaw hours all have flown
