• This song was new around the time of the fabled Now performance at Sidbury Colleseum in February 1983.
• Pok always described Wanted To Be A Singer as his ‘mission statement’.
• There was a terrible studio data loss situation that came about during the making of this track.
• Repairing and salvaging and making good, with all the changes of tempo, was a major technical audio engineering challenge, one that was nevertheless eventually overcome.
• The discovery of the particular voicing of the Fmaj9 used at the beginning and end of the song was a significant breakthrough for the young Masters of Drone.
